Scary picture I know, but I am not a fan of cameras which is why it has taken me 2 years to get around to doing a section about me.

Who am I?
Well, my name is Sarah and I am 36 years old and I live in Birmingham, England.

What experience do I have in the food industry?
I have worked in a catering kitchen as well as owning my own business selling American style cakes, biscuits and chocolates called ‘Evil Genius cakes and cookies’. I sold products locally as well as over the internet and I had stalls at both the Highland Fair in Edinburgh and the Good Food Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

What makes me think that people should pay attention to what I say?
Simply, I don’t. Everybody has a different taste, whether it is the amount of sugar in a dessert or how rare they like their steak. The recipes that I put on my site are tested on my family and altered to what we like.

I welcome other people’s opinions and would like to hear how others approach baking in their kitchens.
